Just days after accepting the position of assistant director of football recruiting for

the University of Michigan, Glenn Schembeckler, son of legendary head coach Bo Schembeckler,

has resigned.

The departure comes amid scrutiny that Schembeckler social media activity showcased racist behavior.

Now for full disclosure, while I did no coach Bo Schembeckler, I do not know his son.

I have no idea if this man engages in racial bias or if his skill set warranted being hired

in the first place, but I do know the accusations of racism are serious and must be investigated,

which is why I was surprised that article after article lacked any detail of what exactly

these posts said.

Finally I found that Schembeckler had engaged with content from the likes of Jason Whitlock,

who is himself a black man and a guest of this program, as well as quotes from Thomas

Sol, another black man who was one of the foremost economist of the last century.

This left me with two thoughts.

One, either I'm missing something and Schembeckler did indeed support posts that intend to

discriminate against people based on their ethnicity, which begs the question, how did

...
