I'm Stuart Mandel, joined by Bruce Feldman, who is in an airport somewhere in Pennsylvania.

We are coming to you later than usual this week, and we apologize for that.

Combination of things.

I mean, first of all, most of all, we tried to wait out the Big Ten in a possible punishment against Michigan and or Jim Harbaugh.

And it is Thursday evening, and that still hasn't happened and um we need to think we think it might be tomorrow morning friday

morning as possible but it's also we're in a little bit of the phrase of nobody knows

anything right now, I think.

I think there's a good chance that will have happened by the time people listen to this.

And so maybe some of this will be outdated, but we just, you know, as of this moment,

we're sitting here wondering when, if and when it's going to be.

So what has happened, well, lots has happened in the Michigan story since we last had this podcast, but most

recently on Wednesday afternoon evening, the Michigan sent its response to the Big Ten,

after the Big Ten sent a notification to Michigan that they are basically, if you're on trial, if you will, for the

counterstallion situation. So Tom Mars, who full confession, full disclosure, we've both dealt with,

talked to a lot, but he's also Harbaugh's attorney, and he drafted this letter that was shared, I believe, by Dan

Wetzel. So basically, Bruce, the case that they're making, they're not trying to say all this

stuff about Conner Stallions is false. Nobody's coming out, hey, we didn't do that.

We didn't have any sort of in-person scouting.

What they're saying is, A, Tony Petiti, you don't have the authority to do anything about this.

There's nothing in the Big Ten bylaws that say you can apply that sportsmanship policy to a situation that's being

investigated by the NCAA. The sportsmanship policy is used for, you know, the stuff we
