In Chicago at the United Center, where Michigan cut down the nets, two out of the last three

Sundays, they were here. Right over there. Yeah, right over here, cut down the nets. And they did it

this time. They didn't get it done against Purdue in the Big Ten tournament championship,

but that did not hinder them from getting to the final four.

Purdue did not get to the final four.

But Michigan headed back to their first final four since 2018.

And as Dusty May said after the game,

a lot of programs would kill for an eight-year hiatus to be considered a drought.

I wouldn't consider it a drought for Michigan either, but the Wolverines back here under

another coach, they were close to getting there under Joanne Howard, a game against

UCLA in the elite eight.

They've now been to the final four in six out of the last seven decades at least once.

They have been there now nine times

in history so you're looking at a program that just continues to get back from era to era anthony

Then COVID happens, which, you know, that's a very clear line of... He was going to have... Yeah, they were going to be like a six-season. Yeah, I mean, that's a very clear line of what life looked like for everyone before that, after that. Michigan has another coaching change.
