My guest today is the Oscar nominated actress, Michelle Yo, nominated for the extraordinary

movie Everything Everywhere All At Once.

If you haven't seen it, I won't attempt to begin to explain it to you.

It is a completely original piece of work.

I'll just tell you this.

She plays a character named Evelyn, who owns a laundromat, a Chinese immigrant in the

United States, and has drawn into the multiverse, a series of parallel universes where she gets

to see different versions of her own life.

It's sort of a thing where if you'd taken this turn, you would have been this.

If you'd done this or not met that person or left that person, here's what your life

would have looked like.

She gets a look at it with very high stakes.

It's about as well as I can explain it.

She'll try too.

It is such a cool and completely different movie than anything I think you've probably

ever seen.

Certainly, then I have.

And she is just great in it.

Just won the SAG Award, already won the Golden Globe Award.

If I started to list all of them, we'd be here all day.
