Summary

In April 1994 25-year-old Michelle Von Emster’s body was found in the water off the coast of San Diego, California. Based on the severity of her injuries, investigators assumed she was killed by a white shark, but shark experts refused to accept the medical examiner’s conclusion. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the life and death of Michelle Von Emster. Michelle was a cancer survivor and she was determined to live her life with gusto. She was described as a free spirit. Many people have questioned the determination by police that Michelle went swimming at night in very cold water and was eaten by sharks.
