What time is it, my friends? It is tea time. Big story at the top of the show. Michelle Obama is shutting down divorce rumors, saying, quote, I'm a grown woman making choices for myself.

So amid growing speculation about her marriage to the former President Barack Obama, the former first lady, is addressing the unfounded divorce rumours.

So these rumours have been going around now for a couple of months.

I told you back then that my sources were saying, no, they are not getting a divorce. They just have

different interests. She said the following. I think it's so interesting. They couldn't even fathom

that I was making a choice for myself and that they had to assume that my husband and I were getting a divorce.

So what she's talking about here is all the headlines, all the big events that she did not want to go to.

She doesn't like politics.

She's made it very clear what she thinks about the current president.

She wants no part of this.

I think there's an expectation in American politics that you hand the bat on,

although that wasn't done to Mr. Biden by the former administration. So she's saying, no, I just don't want to do it anymore.

And for eight years, we were so used to seeing them together. When he was the president, she turned up at so many different events, stuff that she didn't really want to do.

She's very, very, very much not interested in the political world.

She thinks it's really, really nasty.

It is.

And so she said, now that my husband is no longer in office, I'm not doing this.
