Because I used to be the editor. Oh. That's how I know Kat. I used to be her editor in 2001. Wow. Her and Terry were my boss. Wow. So what do you feel is like the sweet spot? What makes a good morning situation? I, you know, it's a lot of things. It's sort of like walking in New York

City or like learning how I drive in New York City or like learning a language. You learn all the

rules and then you learn how to break them. You understand like the pace and, you know, what stories

are really important, how to crash something, how to make executive decisions, how to pivot, how to deal with difficult personalities, how to pick yourself up off the floor when a crisis is happening.

My first news director, Louis Pumenta, who was so fun.

He was a black dude with like a Spanish last name, which is just so wild in South Florida. And he's like,

find something you love to do and it won't feel like work. And he also said, um, anytime you get a

chance, put brown and black people as B roll, cut them in because, you know, oftentimes we just

see black and brown people as a criminal.

Yeah.

Or a dead body that we're talking about.

And he's like, you know, people don't even know, but just like let them see.
