today is Michelle Boutot. We talk about the significance of being the first female comedian to

ever film a special at Radio City Music Hall, co-creating the sitcom Survival of the Thickest

on Netflix, in which she stars as Mavis, and how you can talk about anything or anyone

on stage if you just make it funny and do it in a way that doesn't make anyone feel unsafe.

What is the funniest thing that happened to you this week?

I was on a flight home from L.A.

I believe that I left my wallet on that flight.

The next day, I was supposed to go to Miami for my aunt's funeral.

Couldn't find my wallet.

Couldn't go to the funeral.

Supposed to be a pallbear.

Supposed to do a reading.

She was my favorite aunt.

And I'm like, well, I have to believe in like a higher power and just, you know, get out of church hat and be like, this is for a reason.
