Hello everyone and welcome to police off the cuff real crime stories.

I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Interesting trial started a couple of days ago in Connecticut,

and it's the trial of this woman here you see on the screen,

Michelle Triconis, but it is much bigger than that.

It goes back to May of 2019. And you see on the screen, besides Michelle

Triconis, is Jennifer Dullos, who is the wife of Fotis Doulos, who in this very convoluted story, was about to be charged with the murder of his wife,

Jennifer Doulos, when he turned up nearly dead, he was revived.

They brought him to a hospital, and he died in the hospital hospital and it was ruled a suicide and he left a

note indicating that he had nothing to do with the death of his wife and usually a dying declaration

is viewed by in the legal community as pretty damn important and

usually true.

But in this instance, it seemed more like a self-serving statement.

Don't forget, Photos Doulos and Jennifer Doulos have five children.

Did he leave that, that last thought so that his five children would think that their father, in fact, did not kill their mother?

So in the light of all these other circumstances, Michelle Chaconis is getting charged way after the fact here,

very complicated case,

with conspiracy to commit murder,

tampering with evidence,

and hindering prosecution.
