Hello. A friend was telling me about the ultra-modern Spanish hotel where he'd spent his

witson weekend.

There was this extraordinary atrium.

You should have seen it.

It was a great round hollow space stretching all the way up from the reception area

to what at least what it looked like the open sky and all the rooms

were sighted around the side of the atrium in giant circles it was a it was a

beautiful building you know it was it was somehow frightening I kept I kept imagining a

single eye in the center of that soaring atrium he told me an eye yes an eye that

could see in every room.

And then suddenly I recognize the reason why I was frightened.
