In my mind, this is drastic.

I don't personally think it's the right thing to do.

I just have never been in favor of rewarding people for doing the right thing.

And so I think there's going to be some unintended consequences.

To me, it's almost like the past interference rule.

Yeah, we need to do something.

I don't know if this is exactly it. We need to

keep working until we find out what that best thing is to do. Oh, the influence of Hall of Fame

head coach Tony Dungey. That was Dungey with me on Monday on the eve of a vote that occurred yesterday regarding

potentially revolutionary changes to the Rooney rule.

And it was Dungy's voice that had a very significant hand in the outcome of yesterday's

voice, all detail, or vote rather, all details on that coming up throughout the course of the morning.
