Hello and welcome to full disclosure, a podcast project, which as you should know by now,

is designed pretty much entirely to let me spend more time than I'd ever get on the radio

with people that I find fascinating. It's horribly self-indulgent in many ways. This week's

guest, Michael Rosen, fits completely into that category. Michael, it's great to see you. It's great

to see you looking so well. Well, thanks to having me on. Thanks for the compliment.

I mean, you are one of those people who, it is going to be impossible to cram into an hour,

even after what I've just

said. I mean, 140 books at the last time accounting, that's probably gone up since these

biographical details were put together. I think it has. Somebody counted it at 200, but I should

dive in and say, I didn't write them all. Some of these books I've edited, so they're anthologies and other ones I've

co-written and of course I often have illustrators so I'm very lucky in that sense and then also

some of them are picture books with maybe as few as I don't know about 45 words or something
