I actually don't shroom in here like you would think that I would. I have a lot of respect

for plant medicine and I actually, I won't shroom in here unless there's a shaman with me or some,

you know, someone that can take me through a ceremony. But I respect the plant medicine so much

and I wanted to talk to you about all of your research and your findings in this, in this lane.

And so, wow. Well, I'm happy to talk about that. I too respect the plant medicines and the plants

to an incredible degree. I'm continually astonished at their genius for creating precisely the

molecule that unlocks something in our brains. I mean, that is such an astonishing fact.

I was wondering, could you take us back to when you first became interested and exploring how we

put plants in our bodies and how that affects us? Sure. So I've been interested in plants and their

relationship to us. Their symbiotic relationship to us as long as I can remember. I mean, I

became, I started gardening when I was eight years old and became fascinated with plants.

But as I got older, I, and I started realizing that there were so many different things we used

plants for. And, you know, we use them to feed ourselves, obviously, we depend on them completely.

We use them to clothe ourselves. Most of our clothing comes from plants.

We use them for beauty. We use them for entertainment. And we use them to change the textures
