This week, a huge weekend in the championship.

In fact, it's been a busy 10 days or so

in that division with three game weeks having taken place. F.A. Cup action, not a classic

FA Cup second round weekend. I think it's fair to say we'll pick out a few notables from that

towards the end of the podcast, but fair to say our eyes will mostly be on

the third round draw on Monday evening at 7pm. Thankfully, there's so much to get into at

second tier level. It was goals galore in the champ on the weekend, George, and we have to start

with a 7-0 because I went back through the last, I think, 8-9 seasons

in the championship, just the champ, not League 1 and League 2 as well, very few occasions of

a team scoring 7, just six other teams scoring 7 and none of them to 0 since 2011-12,

but of course there is the Bournemouth 8-0 win. In the 14-15 season that was,

we had Norwich beating Reading 7-1 since we've been doing the pod. That was 2016-17. I can barely

remember that one. I do remember West Brom beating QPR 7-1 last season, QPR collapsing at that stage very early on in the campaign.

But this Brentford Luton 7-0, the sad thing almost is that it doesn't really feel like a fluke.

It was Brentford at their best and finishing their chances, but a Luton side that made it so, so easy for them.
