Summary

It's been a while a few weeks. My guest this week is I want to just ask you guys to,

to, before I introduce him, just think about a few things, right?

So just imagine that in 1986, you're in your early 30s.

You have a three-year-old boy, you have a happy marriage, you have a wife,

and you come home and your wife is brutally beaten to death in front of your three-year-old.

The local sheriff is there.

Imagine that he is looking at you already as a suspect.

Imagine that the local DA hides evidence.

Imagine that you stand trial for the death of your wife,

knowing you're an innocent man, you are convicted and you are sentenced to life in prison.

Your wife is murdered in August, you're sentenced to life in prison and in February.

Imagine spending 25 years there.

Those long and only days knowing that you're an innocent man.

Imagine even being presented the opportunity to apply for parole,

which would mean some sort of admission of guilt, some

redemption and imagine turning that down because you weren't prepared to lie to get out

Then you imagine that science and technology evolved, DNA, technology evolves, files are uncovered, and then imagine that an amazing organization like the Innocence Project comes to your defense
