Thanks for having me Mike. I have to ask what I can't be the only person who's

listening to this. I'm sure you've answered this question a million times

through what sort of genealogical lineage does one come to acquire a last name

like mechanic. I've never been asked this on a podcast but it used to be

mechanic with a K on it belonged to my grandfather who was in Eastern European

Jew living in Warsaw. So before the Second World War he came over when I think

it was about 20 and Ellis Island they said you're now mechanic. Yeah that was
