Summary

Actor Michael McKean, beloved for his roles as Chuck McGill in “Better Call Saul” and David St. Hubbins in the classic rock-umentary “This Is Spinal Tap”, tells Tig all about some surprising backstage memories he has of playing Lenny of the Lenny and Squiggy duo in the classic 1970’s sitcom “Laverne & Shirley”. 0:20.0	You know, it was a really fun evening. I also got to go with producers of the show and see old
0:26.8	friends in the audience and make some new friends and a highlight I have to say for the night was
0:33.4	Anita Hill wandered up and was talking in the same group that I was and if I can just brag for a
0:40.2	second, she knew who I was. I was looking at her thinking how truly groundbreaking her actions were
0:49.9	and how she was very much a person of the evening where the crowd went wild. But I did think in that
0:59.6	moment, do people really stop and think back on how long ago that was? I mean 91. That was so
1:09.6	recent and yet so long ago. I truly can't even put it into words. I'm just blown away about
1:16.7	speaking up about sexual harassment within her peers and on such a public world stage and then to
1:27.2	be made fun of by so many people and not believed and now everything she endured and then to see
1:35.8	her. I mean, obviously there's plenty of people that aren't fans of hers. I mean, it's very similar
1:42.4	to Monica Lewinsky, but it is nice to see all these years later and sad that it is all these
1:49.8	years later. People like Monica and Anita Hill are greeted with standing ovation and the respect
1:58.2	that they deserve. I feel strongly that they deserve. So it was just to make it a selfish moment.
2:06.6	Gosh, was it fun to have her know who I was? I knew who she was. I mean, come on. I know who she was.
2:12.3	I don't think she's talking to anybody about how I knew who she was. I think it's just that she's
2:18.9	a reminder of how far the country has come and has to go. But also a reminder that she's just a
2:28.2	person. I mean, she was at the award show just eating a breadstick like me and everybody else. It
2:33.9	wasn't just two of us eating breadsticks. Everybody there was eating breadsticks. Okay. Anyway,
