On the afternoon of June 25, 2015, along the shoreline of Dear Island near Boston, Massachusetts,

a woman was walking her dog when she came across a plastic bag.

At first she thought nothing of it, assuming it was a little more than trash someone had

discarded, but when her dog refused to leave it alone, she got closer only to discover

the horrible truth.

Inside was the body of an infant child.

Immediately she reported the fine to the authorities and they showed up on the scene to investigate.

At first though, despite their best efforts, they were unable to identify the Jane Doe

on account of decomposition which had already occurred.

Because of that, the case was left in limbo.

While this was frustrating for everyone involved, especially the public after being made aware

of the incident, eventually some bitter resolution presented itself when it was revealed that

the young girl's name was Bella Bond.

Not only that, but the prime suspects in her death were none other than her own mother

and stepfather.

This is Monsters.

The case of Bella Bond's murder is a particularly tragic one given how young she was and how easily

her life had been snuffed out by those she trusted most.

But even now, almost a decade later, there still remains some ambiguity as to what exactly

happened on the fateful night of her passing.

In order to try to gather the best picture of the incident, we first have to go back to

somewhat happier times for her family when she was first coming into the world.
