Antoine played for Michael Malone,

not for very long, but for maybe about a third of a season in Cleveland and was a part of

the search committee, which ended up hiring Coach Malone. Also, Michael Malone set down with Adam and me and we talked for about 10 minutes or so

earlier in the day. This was pre-press conference. And now here, we're going to talk a little bit

about this hire for Carolina, about Michael Malone, and then we will transition into the press conference itself,

which finished up at around 645 in Chapel Hill earlier today.

Adam it's been a busy day for the Tar Eels and ultimately feels like a very positive day.

And you hope day one is a positive day.

But it did feel good.

Michael Malone, I think hit all the right notes in the press conference.

I think he said the right things for what that is worth. But Adam, more than that, I do think that you get the

sense that you're not just hiring a very good basketball coach, which Michael Malone is.

His resume tells you that.
