my very tidy office, very untidy office. And so happy to be presenting this. I'm happy

LA Live Talks and my podcast Black on the Air. And welcome, you know, I should say one

of my regular guests at this point, you know, I've talked to this guy, you know, of course

a huge fan just puts you all know from the blind side. I mean, all the way back to

Liars poker and big short all that stuff. Michael Lewis author of the fifth risk. Michael,

welcome to LA Live Talks. Well, thank you, Larry. I feel like I'm with you. And let's

mention your podcast again, Michael real quick before we end up.

Yeah, the podcast and narrative it's a narrative podcast and it's called against the rules.

Right. And it's just started the second season is just without airing up a few weeks

awesome. Michael, I love talking to you because you always have a way of looking at things

like we've just gone through or finding stories that maybe, you know, we may have overlooked

and giving us deep insight on it, you know, and it's weird because this last six months

and I'm sure I hope to see the Michael Lewis book about these last six months, you know,

what is the end you're taking? What's been going on lately? Do you have any reflection

on anything? How are you doing, by the way? No, no, sure. So, you know, it's been a really

interesting, I've been energized by it. And I do think there's a book in it, one way or

another. I'm filling with it now. But so we know, I'll ramble a little bit. So the first,

the first response I had to it was naturally an extension of the fifth risk. And it was,

the fifth risk was all about how the presidency, the federal government, the president runs

is a manager of a big portfolio of existential risks. And if you treat it with the hostility

and the indifference and the basically the incompetence that the Trump administration has,
