49-year-old Michael K. Blankenship had an impressive resume: he was a Brigadier General, a volunteer speechwriter for president Clinton, oversaw funerals at Arlington National Cemetery...the list goes on. That's why it was a huge shock when on January 25th, 2000, he was found brutally murdered at his house in Leonardtown, Maryland.
