Hello, Kim. So the Emmy nominations are a big story this week. Not a ton of surprises, a few. And, you know, the usual howls of this one was snubbed, that one was snubbed. And some of them maybe were overlooked, but there's, you know, there's a finite number of slots. Yeah, we live in a snub nation now when it comes to the Emmys. This year, 108 dramas actually submitted themselves for consideration. 86 comedies. There are only six

slots per major category. So most shows are going to be snubbed. And Emmy voters, they're

traditionalists. Once they nominate a show, they're just going to keep nominating it. So that's

why modern family every year. Well, so we do have the old blood, but we also have some new blood. And

notably in the comedy category, we have Orange is the New Black from Netflix.

And Netflix had a heck of a lot of nominations this go-round.

And Silicon Valley from HBO pops up in the comedy category.

True Detective is going to be, I think, a big contender in drama. Big line. I mean, it's going to be kind of a throwdown probably between Breaking Bad and getting its final send-off and love, maybe. I mean, do you agree with True Detective being, you know, hot? Well, that's one of the big debates this year was where should True Detective land? Was it a mini-series or a series? And of course,

they ended up putting it in the series category. So now it's going to be up against Breaking Bad. I think

Matthew McConaughey is a lock. He's going to be up. He will be the first man should he

win to win both Oscar and Emmy in the same year. It's been done by Helen Hunt and Helen
