podcast. I'm the host Scott Feinberg and boy do we have a guest today who is

worthy of a milestone episode. Michael Eisner, one of the most storied

executives in the history of Hollywood.

In the 60s and 70s, as a programming executive at ABC, he helped to carry the alphabet network

from last place to first place among the broadcast networks in virtually every sector.

In the 70s and 80s as a vice president at Paramount, he helped to propel that studio from

six to first among the majors.

And most famously, he served as chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company from the 80s well into the 21st century

A tenure during which the Mouse House's annual revenue grew from 1.55 billion to nearly $31 billion and its market value went from

1.9 billion dollars to $57.4 billion.

Today the 74-year-old serves as the head of a venture

capital firm that he formed after leaving Disney called Tornante which backs

digital and new media projects and produces the critically acclaimed animated series Bojack Horseman, which streams on Netflix.
