You will of course remember Michael as Sir Reginald Musgrave in the Musgrave ritual.

Just a quick bit of backstory before we dive in.

This conversation was recorded in 2022, a little less than two years before Michael passed.

And some of our listeners may remember that we posted an excerpt from this interview of

Michael reciting the Musgrave Ritual as a small tribute to him when we heard the news.

We were lucky enough to have David, our man on the street, be there in

person to capture Michael's side of the interview. As it was a bright and clear Easter

Sunday outside, Michael suggested we set up the record on the back patio of his London home,

so you will hear the occasional bird song and vehicle noise in the background, but we think

it adds a bit of character to Michael's side of the conversation.
