I'm the host Scott Feinberg and on this episode I am so excited to be joined by a guy who's

been one of my favorite actors for years since he was a kid.

He's only 28 now but he's been in the business for a long time, and he has just recently been minted as a bona fide leading man movie star with his performance as a donis Creed in Creed.

His name is Michael B Jordan, and he is here to stay.

Perhaps you've seen him over the years on TV, on The Wire, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights,

or any number of other shows up to and including all my children. or perhaps you've seen him on the big screen

in movies ranging from Fruit Vale Station to that awkward moment to the Fantastic Four.

But it's Creed that has offered him his largest audience yet and its creed that has impressed people tremendously

in the week since it's come out.

As the first person other than Sylvester Sloan to play a leading role in a rocky movie,

he has carried the film to great reviews and great box office and on January 14th

he might well become the first person since the loan 39 years ago to receive a

best actor Oscar nomination for one of the installments in the franchise.

In my view he is certainly worthy.

He's an exciting actor and a humble, likable guy as I think you will conclude for yourself

when you listen to this conversation.
