I hear you're taking vacation this week.

Yep, that's right.

This is my longest sustained break from writing in, I mean a very long time I took a vacation in April as well

like a vacation from Jacobin but I think it was just to do like other work that I

needed to do like work on some other projects.

So this is my first real vacation.

And yeah, I don't know, September was kind of an exhausting month.

I wrote a lot of stuff.

So, you know, it's nice being on vacation. I would recommend it. I think this podcast is officially pro- vacation.

Yeah, it's great. You can just listen to five Pink Floyd albums in a row. You can read as much as you want. You can go for nice long walks.

Toronto, for those who don't know, has just gone, it's reverted to an earlier stage of lockdown,

so a lot of stuff's closed but I work from home anyway and you know haven't

really been going out a lot except to go for walks and exercise so hasn't really

affected things much for me.

Well, being between day jobs at this point,

I've basically been living a kind of vacation lifestyle.

I mean, I'm quite productive.

I'm podcasting like a fiend, so I guess that's kind of my full-time job now and you know I have to say
