Summary

Welcome to The Pretty Intense Podcast. Today was a real treat. I'm super grateful for this interview with Michael A. Singer. He wrote my favorite book. A book I recommend to everyone as the one book you have to read, "The Untethered Soul." He also wrote "The Surrender Experiment.", and his newest is called, "Living Untethered." Michael mastered in economics, and has been a hugely successful business man. He now has a Yoga and Meditation center called, "Temple Of The Universe." Michael was just such a delight. Sometimes you interview people you admire, and you are just so excited, and it is just so hard for people to top your excitement level, and he did. He really did. So humble, practical, deep, sweet, and just so wise. His advice, sometimes it just feels so simple. And thank God it's simple. Because those are the things that we need to practice. It doesn't mean they are easy to get beyond yourself, but the practices are simple. Today he explains how to get beyond ourselves. How to access and process the mess we push down. Why we push it down. How to let it flow through us and essentially how to live a happier life. How to not take things personally. How to not be triggered. Can you imagine living a life where those things didn't happen any more? And it is possible. It is possible with these practices. We then talked about what is the final destination. What does it look like when you finally get to where you are supposed to go. Does that even exist? This is a really beautiful conversation. I highly recommend reading all Michael A. Singer's books. Until then, enjoy this deep dive conversation with Michael A. Singer.
