Plus, he shares his opinion on some of the drama that has rocked the beach so far and more about how his conversations with James helped him feel good about his decision to go to “Paradise.”

0:00.0 | Welcome back happy hour listeners. I'm Becca Kufren and I'm Michelle Young and we are back with you again this week to talk about everything that went down in two episodes of this week in Bachelor of Paradise. |
0:16.0 | Yes, we do have a lot to cover this week. I'm very happy to be back with you Becca as always because this week we're talking to Bachelor nation, Jim and self-proclaimed old guy on the beach Michael A. |
0:32.0 | I love that he proclaims himself that because I feel like that was me last year on Paradise. But yeah, I'm so excited to have Michael on. We talked with him during Katie season, which was man a year and a half ago now. |
0:45.0 | But I want to get the scoop on his relationship with Sierra so far. We saw that pop off this week and from the looks of it, it seems like they're right now one of the strongest couples on the island. So wait, it's not even an island. It's Mexico. |
1:00.0 | Man, I'm on the beach on the beach, but we'll have him on very shortly. But before that, Michelle, you have been traveling around you are currently in Minnesota right now. You were at I Heart last week, which looks so fun. |
1:15.0 | Just catch us up on all of your travel and adventures. |
1:19.0 | So much fun. Yeah, I was able to so like I feel like I was kind of finally getting settled in LA and then of course had to take off and I went to I Heart. It was in Vegas. We're so busy, but it was just it was so much fun to see so many artists perform. |
1:39.0 | And I feel like it was kind of like a trip down memory lane, like it was super nostalgic because I had to listen to like Avril Lavigne, like do you remember? Yeah, Avril Lavigne days. |
1:49.0 | I was just listening to Skaterboy in the car last night. Yes, exactly. So like do I remember for films a certain part of your just, I don't know, childhood growing up. |
1:59.0 | And then I was able to do a little bit of hosting, which was super awesome. And the best part is that while we were filming, we were filming at the like the T-Mobile arena. |
2:11.0 | And it was when all like the bands were doing their like covers, like perform warming up and all those things like playing through their sets. Yeah. And Sam Smith played his entire set. And he played his new song unholy. |
2:27.0 | And so literally got to sit there and listen to it like it had gotten released the day before. And it was like the first time he's going to be performing it live. And I got to hear it before like anyone else. It was so cool. |
2:39.0 | That's awesome. So, so, so cool. So yeah, there was a lot of fun things, you know, a lot of TikToks, a lot of bachelor nation, a lot of that were there. |
2:47.0 | And so it was good. And then headed back to Minnesota for a little bit, pop back to LA for some events and now back in Minnesota. So I'm tired. |
2:57.0 | Oh, I can imagine I'm tired just hearing about all of these travels. I want to ask you really quick though, because I saw you mentioned the TikToks. |
3:11.0 | I mentioned the bachelor nation alumni that were all at I heart. I loved the ones with you and Rachel. I love watching your stories. |
3:20.0 | How is she doing after everything? I know I'm sure like she's still in the midst of all of this. And it still is probably very crazy. But now she's a bit removed and can focus on the future. So did she have fun? |
3:32.0 | Was she doing well? I would say I mean, she's she's doing I bow as good as somebody could like in that position. I mean, do you remember when you're going through this entire bachelor experience and it it's like a year long experience or like a two year long experience before you slow down because you typically go on as a contestant. |
3:54.0 | And then you move into becoming a lead and you're going through like the pre press and then your season and filming and then you're airing and then post and all this different stuff. And you know, like that moment where everything happens and then everything finally is done and you it all catches up to you. |
4:10.0 | You're just emotionally exhausted even on like even if you end up with the best case scenario, you're exhausted. And so she had literally gone from AFR and you know going through that entire like announcing how everything went down with Tino and then she hopped on a plane with Gabby to go to New York to do her press week. |
4:29.0 | And then from there she went to Vegas and so it was nice to see her and spend so much time with her and then you know, I took a picture because she was there's this point of the night where she was just knocked out on the bus as we're heading to the concert with like a red bull in her hand and she's just like exhausted in your heart just as like, |
4:48.0 | because you remember that and you know she's going through a breakup on top of all of that. So she's doing she's she's doing well like she's holding her ground and everything. |
