Only two overtime games played all season, both here in Dallas, Arlington,

AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys won, Week 2 against the Giants, and then last night, the full 70-minute game ending in a walk-off tie, highest-scoring tie since 1964 Raiders Patriots, 43, 43 was that one, 40 to 40. And it's great when there's a tie. It's not great when there's a tie. The one thing I like is nobody knows how to feel. Well, yeah, the tie stink. I mean, it does. I was outside the stadium doing the podcast, right, on our set that we have out there. And you even feel a tie when it's from the crowd coming out of the stadium. I mean, it's a little bit of like, yeah, there's no anger or jubilation. It's a little bit just everybody walking around. Like, we don't know how to feel really. And I'm sure the players feel the same way. As somebody watched the game, you're kind of sitting there going, damn, are they really going to tie? Did we really come out here for this big show and this big stadium and all that? And, you know, what's the old saying? It's like kissing your sister? I mean, yeah, that's what it kind of seems like, right? The only old saying, right? Oh, that is the old saying. I never quite understood it because, well. Nobody likes to kiss their sister. Right, right, but it would be worse than a tie then. Right. Like a tie, they need a better metaphor, something where you don't know how to feel about it. You're right about that. There's nothing good. There's nothing bad. You just, there's nothing. There's nothing. Yeah. The only good thing about a tie is it makes it easier at the end of the year when it's time to apply the tie breakers. That's the only good thing about it. As long as it's the only tie, sometimes there'll be multiple teams. No question. But when you get down to 8, 8, 1, or 10, 6, and 1, whatever it may be, you don't have to worry about all the different permutations

for the Packers of the Cowboys that they're in playoff position.

That's the only good thing about it.

We've seen that a lot over the last decade.

I mean, that as much as we sit there and watching those games and we go, oh, we don't

want to tie.

We don't need that.
