Joined as always my co-ist Nick Falado for a bonus episode today. And I want to know, Nick,

where were you and what the hell were you thinking when you got the notification on your phone

that Micah Parsons was traded? Yeah, I was standing in my kitchen with my roommate and one of his friends and they were about to go to a concert. So I'm just hanging out with them. And I looked down on my phone and I just see Adam Schaeftor, Adam Schaeffler, Adam chef there, Adam Schaeffter, so I'm like, why is my phone blowing up with Adam Schaefter tweets at this moment? So I checked it and I was like oh oh my gosh, Ricky Leaks was right. He's

always right. Michael Parsons is not in the division anymore. This is amazing. And then I

saw what the trade value was. And I was like, dude, two first round picks. And Kenny Clark is a good

football player getting a little bit longer on the two. I think he's 29 years old. But two first

round picks that are likely going to be 25 and 26

or around that range with the Green Bay Packers.

I was shocked that Jerry Jones allowed this to happen.

And I wonder if this is going to be like a massive stain on his legacy because what is

Michael Parsons?

26 years old.

He's not even in his prime yet.

He's already a top five defensive player in the national football league.

And I am just so happy that whether it's Andrew Thomas or James Hudson or whoever is blocking for the New York Giants in week two, Michael Parsons will not be wearing the Dallas garb.

Yeah, I couldn't believe.

I couldn't believe he actually did it.

I thought they would just come to terms on a contract. But ultimately, like, I don't know exactly how they could have or would have done that.

And I always said this from the start, Nick. I said, this was, we talked about this maybe like 14 months

ago on this show or longer. So there just doesn't seem to be a way for them to financially keep

DAC, CD Lamb, and Michael Parsons. And they went ahead and signed CD Lamb last offseason to a mega contract. And that was in the books. And the writing was on the wall. Now, I have famously said, Nick, I don't care about the cap. And I don't. But when you play it the way the Cowboys have played it, there is ultimately a breaking point.
