What happened?

Well, big day at the Supreme Court today.

The Supreme Court has ruled against the Trump administration's use of emergency powers to put tariffs in place.

The administration argued that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act allowed the president to set up tariffs without Congress.

Well, in a six-three decision, the court said no, it doesn't actually do that. Conservative justices John Roberts, Amy Coney-Barritt, and Neil Gorsuch,

joined the court's three liberals in striking this down. Now, it doesn't mean the tariffs are all

gone. There's a lot to unwind here, but the administration has said that they will

implement tariffs through other methods that are explicitly granted to the president.

So what Jonathan Turley said, too.
