Previous seasons, we've done an instant reaction podcast from the hard rock stadium parking lot but

because it's 2020 and things are different we're now doing a morning after show and I think it's

going to be a little bit better because we can digest and kind of process some things uh David how is

how you doing I know it was a late night for you. Coffee's flowing.

I could hear you pouring it in the background.

Just give me your initial thoughts, man.

Game one of year two of the Diaz era.

Yeah, I mean, I think it was a strong way to open the season.

Now, are there things that need to be built upon and improved? Yes, no doubt. But I think we need to understand the context of what Miami was

coming from at the end of 2019 and then understand the context of what the team

had to navigate, specifically the offense, with installing a new style, a new system, through

the strangest offseason you could possibly have. I think all things considered, it was a strong start by the offense and the defense.

And we can hop into it. I mean, look, again, there are things that need to be improved.

But overall, this was a good game, a good performance

by the Hurricanes. Do you agree with that? I absolutely agree. I feel like I have to talk some people

off the ledge here. I mean, I do not, I know, you know, there's not a lot of positive stuff on Twitter.

I mean, just read comments on anything about anything and you're going to have negative people.

But you read some of the social media, you see some other media personalities.
