I'm Andrew Evans, joined as always by David Lake, coming at you.

I guess we were just talking about about three weeks before Miami's supposed to open up

the season against UAB. David, how are you doing on this Thursday morning? Doing good, man. And yeah,

three weeks away, I will have to admit, I am definitely more and more optimistic with each passing day that they're going to get the season started.

So, you know, it definitely seems like schools are pushing forward.

There are some schools out there that have taken a couple days off due to outbreaks on the campus.

And I guess some of that has, you know, come to the football programs

in small numbers at those schools. But, you know, those, the way it seems like everyone's going

to try and handle it is those are isolated incidents. We got to just keep pushing forward,

which I think is the right call. I mean, if you can contact, trace, all this stuff

and manage any positive tests, et cetera,

you gotta do that, isolate them and keep it moving.

So anyways, overall, I do feel good about

them getting the start of this season going on September 10th. I mean, some examples of, I guess, positive stuff would be, you know, Notre Dame. I think they

went online classes or they're going to for two weeks and then they shut down football

practices for two days but then like an hour later they announced that they're hosting

USF on later to open up the season so and then you got Florida State who's like yeah let's

just we're going to let anyone come and tailgate in Tallahassee. So I guess there's reasons.

And Florida State's not the only one, right?
