I'm Bruce Feldman, joined, as always by my colleagues from the Athletic Stuart Mandel,

and Ralph Russo, who was not with us on our Sunday morning episode, but is back with us from

Columbus, Ohio.

He's still around the Buckeyes.

But we will get into a pretty riveting Miami Notre Dame game that just wrapped up.

Okay, guys, first thoughts on what you just watched.

I'm happy to go first.

Go ahead, Ralph.

As long as you guys can hear me, okay.

So the thing that stuck out to me, because I've been a big rubin bain fan to a certain

degree throughout this whole um throughout the last you know a couple of years watching him play

uh was the idea that when he is healthy he is a difference maker for miami i just think that he is a major difference maker and he

had his fingerprints all over that game. You combine him with Corey Heatherman as the new

defensive coordinator and it's just a very different looking Miami defense and you've got to hope

that that carries forward for the rest of this year.

First of all, another great Sunday night game.

I feel like that happens every year.

Also, we kept talking about three top ten games this weekend and how rare that is.

They all came down to the very very end.

This one might have been the best of the three, honestly.

I was surprised that Notre Dame's offensive line was so bad.
