Summary

In the latest Through the Smoke podcast, we discuss Miami’s newest commitment and dip our toes into a little bit of Alabama talk.  In the first half of the show, Gaby Urrutia and David Lake go into detail on the commitment of four-star cornerback Chris Graves out of Ft. Myers Bishop Verot High School.  What type of player is Miami landing? What does this mean for Miami’s cornerback recruiting in 2022? Is cornerbacks coach DeMarcus Van Dyke an emerging star as a position coach? Urrutia and Lake also break down which players could commit next and whether or not Miami can get some more players in the boat during this month of July.  In the second half of the show, Lake is joined by BamaOnline’s Travis Reier.  With Miami set to open the season against Alabama on September 4th, Reier shares some big picture knowledge of what the 2021 Alabama team might look like with SEC media days right around the corner and the start of fall camp less than a month away.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
