with Chris Whittingham. We are doing something called an anthology on the Miami Heat. Miami Heat

Stories. The first episode, first volume was with Jason Jackson. You can find that in our library

an episode with Eric Reed, the play-by-play man for the Miami Heat, the voice of the

Miami Heat. It was so good that we decided to break it into two parts. So we have grabbed Eric

for another episode today to put this up for you guys. And then the last episode, we closed

with about 2005. We kind of got into the 2005-2006 season a little bit, but mostly talked about the early days of the heat, the transition with Pat Riley, bringing in Alonzo Morning, Tim Hardaway, and those teams.

And then the drafting of Dway in 2003 and everything that that meant.

And we're going to start today, though, with Eric on that 2005-2006 team.

Because I covered that team, Eric, and it was one of the more unusual teams I've ever covered.

Because to have a season that had so much turmoil, where you had so many personalities on that team.

And then additionally, the coaching change where Pat Riley steps back in for Stan Van Gundy,

Shaq missing a lot of time that season, integrating him back in.
