Like most of the dunked on that I've been handling this is a two part of the first section is with Albert nomad heat hoops just amazing cap guy as well going in depth on Miami as a point of kind of time clarification on this we recorded before doing weight of formally announced is returning and before pat Riley's announcement that deon waiters would miss training camp and probably the first part of the season though we talked about the possibilities of both those are the podcast we pretty much treated way as coming back which ended up being.

With Miami like for a lot of these I think a good place to start is really what this team was last year and really whether that is repeatable and my kind of thesis is that I mean there are some health things we should definitely talk about but I think Miami is a largely similar team to last year and so expecting a similar result is totally fine.

I think they're very similar team to last year they just they brought back just about everybody from last year I think the right place to start was actually with the 2016 17 season they started 11 and 30 in their first 41 games that year and they finished the season at 30 and 11 their second 41 they thought they figured out something along the way they

thought they found a way to win without a star they had a drive and kick philosophy that was surrounded by floor spaces but as it turns out they didn't really have that way they ended up with 44 wins they were about an average team and they had an

in balance roster construction construction I felt a lot of guys who are very strong role players but they lack the true start to bring it all together so I mean they have one point card in

drawgatch they have six shooting guards in way when he came on board midway through the season and Josh Richardson and waiters and

Alington and Tyler Johnson and McGrooder all of whom deserve playing time and one small Ford and Justice Winslow wasn't fully proved

themselves yet they had two power forwards and James Johnson and Kelly Olinik who have the versatility to play center and small

ball rotations and they have two true centers and why it's not by all the question is how do you find playing time for all of them

and I don't think even though it was the exact same teams we saw last year I don't think they've gotten enough answers that translate into

answers for this season so I think we enter this season just as unsure about what the rotations will be and I think we'll go through a lot of them as the season goes on
