Additionally, he created the Value Investors Club Forum, which is an incredible free resource for reading the research and ideas of some of the best investors around. Greenblatt actually calls it American Idol for hedge fund managers. It's not a pay-to-play kind of club, though. Instead, you have to submit an investment idea to be admitted, which gives you the chance to submit between two and six investment ideas every year. But all the ideas are available for free to anyone to read at a delay from when they're published. It's just that you have to have your pitch approved to be able to see posts in real time and to contribute new ideas directly to the forum.
