I tried not to make it today, but I'm here.

The forces conspired against you not to make it five minutes before the show is when I realized I didn't have a mic stand here for you.

But we made one work. And I'm hoping that the forces conspired to keep my throat happy throughout the show.

My cold last week, plus a gig on Friday night, turned my throat into, well, something much

less than useful, and that's why we've postponed a day here. I can actually talk today so that's good.

But we'll see how gravelly I get by the end.
