| 0:00.0 | Hi, this is Debbie Boyles, coach at Mojo for Running, with podcast number 36, where I've been and what I do. |
| 0:09.4 | First of all, I want to apologize for the absence of this podcast for the last couple of months. |
| 0:14.5 | I'm sure some of you feared you'd never hear another Mojo for Running podcast, but that's far from the case. |
| 0:20.0 | Don't worry. As you know, I don't |
| 0:22.1 | tend to waste much time with chit chat up at the beginning of my podcast because I respect my |
| 0:26.7 | listeners. I respect your time. For that reason, though, I know many of you know little about me. |
| 0:32.9 | I decided today I'd provide a bit more insight by telling you what I do as regards running besides this podcast, a bit about my local running business. |

| 1:10.4 | I definitely would not recommend coaching if you don't get a necessarily do any coaching. I definitely would not recommend |
| 1:11.8 | coaching if you don't get a certification. But the point is, you can start a running club or |
| 1:17.9 | running organization without offering any coaching, and there's a good chance that there would be |
| 1:22.9 | somebody in your city who would like to become affiliated with the group once you started and that would |
| 1:28.7 | be somebody who could offer coaching. But one of the most important things is simply for people to |
| 1:34.5 | have a group of people to train with, to learn from. Runners learn a lot from each other. For example, |
| 1:42.5 | when you have a running group, if somebody decides to do a half marathon |
| 1:46.1 | or a marathon, and they haven't done one before, they will usually find plenty of experienced |
| 1:52.1 | veteran runners who are more than happy to mentor them as they train. That can be huge. So even if |
