Hi, this is Debbie Boyle's coach at Mojo for Running.

And the title of this episode is Running Through the Holidays.

You know, this is probably, this is a critical time of year as far as running for many people

because there are so many races in January and February and even March that right now many people are just trying so hard to

stick to their schedule between Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's and Hanukkah.

But unfortunately, it's really hard to do that.

I know in my own running groups, I have groups that I coach four nights a week,

and the attendance has fallen way off in the last few weeks.

And it's usually because of the kids have some event, Christmas parties,

all, you know, shopping. And, you know, the thing is, everybody's

life is complicated to start with. And at this time of year, particularly for people that have

kids, it's really hard to have any spare time. If you have kids at this time of year, it tends to, if they're in the chorus, well, they're

going to have a chorus concert.

If they're in the band, they're going to have a band concert.

There are holiday festivities, holiday parties.

Sometimes things that the parents have to take to the school.

If you're kids in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, well, they're probably going to have a holiday

party for that.

At church, obviously, if you're active in the church, there are many activities at church,

concerts.

So there are just tons of things. And then we adults have parties. If you're like me,
