He's a self-taught woodworker who's found a niche in taking wood from the tree to the finished project all in his own hands.

He's built a massive bandsaw mill from scratch with no experience whatsoever as part of his sawyering business.

We talk with Matt about being laid off and taking his passion full time and the journey along the way. Matt has over 170,000 subscribers on YouTube and he has put out a staggering 431 videos since

2015. With his weekly shop updates and project builds, he's grown a loyal following

and is now host of the Wood Talk podcast, as well as a key contributor to the Wood
