John and I just got back from WorkbenchCon, and we are fired up.

We had a ton of learning, networking, and business conversations.

And today we're going to be talking about how you can get engaged in events in your area and beyond and how beneficial they are. We'll also do a quick recap of WorkbenchCon for all of you who

didn't get a chance to go there. John, my voice is still recovering, dude. How is yours?

you may have noticed at the conference that there was a little bit of competition between

ourselves and our buddies over at the Modern Maker podcast.

It was actually the first time all of us got to be in the same room

at the same time. So we got into a fierce battle of beer pong and being beaten, we had to sing

some karaoke. And unfortunately, my voice octaves are not built well for Whitney Houston's vocal

range. So I have been suffering since then. But I wanted to take an opportunity on our behalf to
