I'm just going to start by saying that. I'm excited.

The subject line of this is, job offer on the apocalypse farm.

Audi. In this 262 mini-sode, there was a weird customer interaction story,

so I decided to share mine. I worked for way too long at a chain hardware store in town.

While there, I became a member of the Garden section team with no knowledge of plants.

And then in parentheses, I would eventually be promoted to sales lead too.

I never understood why, but I took the position for the raise.

While working the sales floor, a man in his 60s or so asked me for help loading up bags of

soil onto a cart. This was pretty common and it spelled P-E-R-T-T-Y. I love it.

Which could have been a mistake that I really enjoy.

Yeah. This was pretty common for customers that we're not able to load up soil for a variety

of reasons, or just didn't want to get dirty. I didn't mind.

Doing this sort of grunt work kept me off the cash register and kept me in shape.
