In the end it was a goalkeeping error that would give Mexico the victory. They were hanging on at the end, but in the end it is

three points, top of the table, top of the group, and in theory, a preferred draw in the round of

32. South Korea looked like this as we welcome in. Yergen Klinsman is with us. Yergan, we'll come

to you in a moment, but first, Hokelyz Gomez. You've talked so much about Mexico and their potential in this World Cup on Football Americas. How would you assess their performance today? Yeah, I think the most important thing out of tonight was the result. It wasn't by any stretch of the imagination. A very good performance by the Mexican national team. It was a just performance. In the end, it was a goalkeeping error that gives the Mexican national team that goal. But if you look at the overall 90 minutes, the team that

was in most control was Mexico. At the end, they gave up one or two chances to the South Korean

team. But overall, it was cagey, it was tense. It looked like South Korea was playing for a draw

while Mexico was trying to play for the win.

I think it was a just result in the end.

And Javier Aguirre got exactly what he wanted.

This team had been heavily criticized.

At halftime, the fans were booing the team.

This was a team coming off of this darkest period in its Mexican history with a player pool
