BBC Sounds Music Radio Podcasts Hello, I'm Rosanna Tennant and we have just

0:19.0

watched the Mexico City Grand Prix and with me to chat through everything we've seen is

0:23.8

the former Formula One driver, Julian Palmer and the European sports car champion, Alex

0:27.9

Brundel. It was an interesting race. We thought we had all the ingredients for something

0:32.2

quite spicy guys, but in the end the story was written that Max Verstappen took the

0:38.6

spoils ahead of Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes and then Charlotte Claire completing the podium

0:45.0

in the Ferrari. Max Verstappen making light work of things at the start, Julian. We knew

0:50.2

he had to sort of get that move done on the two Ferrari's who'd locked out the front

0:53.4

road. Did you see it coming that quickly though in the Grand Prix?

1:24.3

it was going to be a long shot for them to come back and it took about 100 metres.

1:29.8

There we go, 100 metres of, as you said I'd exprondled Jeopardy, in this Mexico City Grand Prix,

1:35.6

he was punchy wasn't he going straight through the middle of the two of the Ferrari's?

1:38.7

Yeah, the second phase of the start was just so good for him and had that drive down towards

1:44.7

the first corner. I was surprised by how little punch the Ferrari's had if I'm honest and

1:50.6

surprised how little formation flying there was from them, they could have easily stacked up on

1:56.8

that inside line and made Verstappen go the really long way round into turn one and as JP said as
