On this Wednesday, as is usually the case, we're on the Mike Francesa channel on the

Vet Rivers Network on YouTube, where we will be prominently once we get to September

and get into the football season and now it is right around the corner.

We are just days away from week three in the preseason, which is the

final week of the preseason, which used to be dress rehearsal week when we played four

preseason games. And now there's not even dress rehearsal week anymore. A lot of top players,

a lot of big stars, a lot of the big quarterbacks don't even see action

in the preseason anymore.

There's no more even marketability or pretended marketability to the preseason.

The NFL understands that, especially with the extended season.

They want everything to go the way they want everything to rev up the way they are now,

are starting on September 5th, especially when they can, as you've noticed.
