Jerry and Willie Colon are in for the vacationing Boomer & Gio. We started with the Mets and Yankees both getting wins. Lindor, Alonso & Soto all were key players in the win. The Yankees had no problem with the Mariners. They moved Jazz Chisholm back to second base. C-Lo is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Mets beating the Orioles. Pete Alonso talked about the team’s comeback. The Giants had a walk off inside the park home run last night. Giancarlo Stanton was among the Yankees with homers. New Knicks coach Mike Brown met the media and actually took some questions. Willie wonders when we started saying that coaches ‘won the press conference’. We also talked about Todd Bowles and how fans thought he was soft, but Willie said he was tough on players but the media didn’t see that. In the final segment of the hour, there was a fight on a golf course involving a former NHL enforcer. We talked about how big guys often get challenged when out in public. Willie then told us how much of an adonis Cam Newton is.
