So I was listed to Alan Jerry this morning.

So, because I think I could buy tickets for June and July on the Mets website.

I think I can, but they were saying that the Mets had held back June and July tickets,

or actually June, July, August, September, I'm assuming tickets because their strategy was that even

though the offseason, they added some pieces, they were still met fans that were really

pissed off about the off season, and the ticket sales weren't going great, and they held

back the tickets for June and July so they could be able to, assuming the team was going

to get off to a good start, jack them up for June and July.

Well, that's a bad decision.

So is that, that's true, Al?

Yes.

Because I can go on a Mets site here.

I just went to like a day in June on Mets.com, and it looks like I could buy them, but maybe that's because that's through a season ticket holder who put them up there? Not sure. But try July. Try July. Okay, I'll go back. So this was, you know, MLB.com slash mats. But by the way, this was a report that we, I think we all saw in the New York Post. Is that right? Yeah, July you can't. Yeah, I know Darren from the seven line looked into it too because people were, I guess, tweeting to him about it. So he looked. All right. So June you can, July, you cannot. Well, they don't have to worry about me. I ain't buying any of them. And August, you cannot either. You know, I kind of feel like, I kind of feel like, you know what? You know what I feel like with a team, it's one thing. If it, if it's a small market team and there's young guys and they're busting their ass and they're not making a lot of money and they're rookies. Yeah.

I kind of can buy into that and I can go watch them play.

It's another thing when you get a bloated payroll and nobody's doing anything that's making any money.

I mean, really, I mean, it's just, it's, and it reminds me a little bit of how I feel about the nil in college. And I know that schools still want to raise money, still find themselves at deficits like the University of Maryland, my school.

You know, we have a new AD, Jim Smith. He's a great guy. And he put out the warning letter to

Maryland fans that, you know, look, man, we're still in the red. And we haven't caught up with

the rest of the Big Ten teams. And we're trying, we're trying to do all these different things to raise as much money as we possibly can. And I feel, and I've told Jim, I said, look, I can't write a check to a school that's going to give a kid that's 18 years old, $250,000.

I'm just not doing that.

I mean, my career at the University of Maryland was great.

I had a scholarship which took the pressure off of my dad, and I made memories and made friends that lasted a lifetime.
