It was nice to see Mark Vientos get that home run last night.

Maybe that opposite field sort of jam shot that he had is just the thing

that we'll get him out of the slump even though Carlos Mendoza saying, hey, it's coming, it's coming.

He's hitting the ball harder. You know, we feel like he's right on the cusp. So that's something

that they're going to need. And of course, the discussion continues about Juan Soto.

You know, I heard BT and Sal when I was driving home about it and saw the clip that

everybody was talking about where Sal was getting on him.

But, you know, it's, I understand this business and how it works and like a piece of something

is the thing that's going to get the most attention.

But, you know, Sal did preface a lot of things he was saying about Juan Soto is I'm still love the fact that

he's here I still think that he's going to have a good year but what he has done up until

this point has not been him very underwhelming right I just, why can't that be the discussion as opposed to everybody thinking that if you have any sort of criticism about Juan Soto early, that you're not allowed to have that or you're some sort of hater?

Those two things can be true.

That he hasn't lived up to expectations through this amount of games, but there's a long way to go and we're still happy that he's here.

And he still, we still think he's going to be very good.

And if we haven't learned from the Francisco Lindor experience, we never will.

I mean, we almost ran him out of town after his first full season, let alone his first few weeks.
